Dalfaber AOCL level crossing on the Strathspey Railway in Aviemore.
This video was recorded on Sunday 16 July 2017 during the Summer Family Special event and sees the following trains:
Class 27, 27050 (D5394) heading north with a service to Broomhill
Class 31, 31327 (D5862) running light to Boat of Garten
Caledonian Railway 812 class, 828 with a service to Broomhill
31327 returning from Boat of Garten with the return service from Broomhill

Great video! Love that halogen AOCL and the mechanical bells! Looks like the lights are out of sync when going from yellow to the flashing red lights.

Great video. This is possibly now the only AOCL left in Scotland. I noticed the yellow lights are out of timing a bit with the rest of the lights and the red flashing lights are slower than normal level crossings I've seen. Would they ever upgrade this to a AOCL+B with new LED lights?

@@Unbreakify I Have a 40 Yr old Flashlight and its flash rate is the same!

@@doohickey-enjoyer Probably a halogen flashlight, also, i think this is the rarest level crossing in scotland! It has Halgoen lights, now rare, no barriers, also rare, and its about 20-40 years old. Also, its only operating steam trains i think. So yeah, rarest i think.
