So here is how Dalgona Coffee came into South Korea So this actor Jung Ilwoo from CInderella and the four knights he was from Macau and he appeared on Stars' top recipe at fun restaurant a south korean tv show. Jung Ilwoo showed how to make Dalgona Coffee but he just called it Dalgona because Dalgona means "honeycomb toffee" a Korean street food and the color of the food is the same a the thing you put on top of the coffee that is how everything started

I literally played that section 5 times because he didn’t say whipping cream but it’s in the bowl when he said “2 tablespoons of milo..” so I think yea, need the whipping cream because if you looked at the 1st wrong milo version, he was only using milo and hot water and it wasn’t thickening.

Milo syrup = milo powder dissolved in hot water. Yes you still need the whip cream for the conaistency. Gradually add the milo syrup in the whip cream until you achieve the consistency when coffee and sugar was used.
