Hi Sahil, good video. So the power from the distribution board only goes to the dali control unit ? And can we have two lets say 3 gang switches to switch on and off the lights from different areas in the room, for example if the doors into the room were in opposites sides?

how common/quickly is this method making its way into construction? on my first job using this system. seems vastly over complicated with little benefits. typically we use BAC connected controllers that handle local areas and then send status of switch legs to the central hub to monitor the facilities. this method, as i understand, sends conditions and manual override to the central hub to then cut/connect the raw electoral power to switch legs. i suppose the (relative) benefit.... in the past the individual components (switch/sensors) had built in IDs so that the installer needed the bar code for each piece to settle the network. DIAC allows to change their ID..... still cumbersome
