I was actually surprised at how good the movie is. Like, it's exactly what you expect it to be regarding first love, dreams coming true, happy endings... But something had me on the hook. The chemistry between the two protagonists was unexpectedly good (I was rooting for them like crazy) and overall the acting wasn't bad at all. Since this is a wadpad story I was very hesitant at first to even watch it, but there's nothing toxic, nothing violent in the movie. There are also several scenes showing female consent which is so so freaking important for young people to see. We didn't have that very often growing up... I also liked that the story/movie was making fun of clichés showhing that this is exactly what it wants to be. The only sad thing is that it sucks to be crushing on actors nowadays, given that I'm older than them now haha
