i guess in some way yeah.. because usually twins are different personalities so if you like the person she is different from the one you lost but he is just missing the idea of the lost twin so he is with the 2nd because she is a reminder of her

London and Dawson never dated though. Sure he liked her but in silence and she didn’t know. If she ever noticed, she didn’t entertain the idea. Andi probably from reminded him of London but he tried to not get emotionally involved romantically but somewhere in the middle of it .. he saw her as Andi not as London and fell for own personality.. and Andi fell in love with Dawson.. how she felt alive inside
