This video is a walk through of the Dallas Aboretum in May of 2024. It was a totally overcast day with storms expected. Gates Open at 9, so get there a little before they open and park at Gate 1 for the best parking. There is a parking garage and other parking. At certain times of the year you will need to pre purchase tickets on line to guarantee entry. $22 each for adults and $5 for parking for us. We were trying to beat the rain so we walked quickly and were ahead of most people...there was the lake on the left and we started taking all paths to the right, made it to the back where the children's area was and the came back down the left and inside paths...(I may have missed something as this place is huge). I'm sure it's very hot and humid in the summer so dress as cool has you can. As you can see a lot of plants have just been planted in this video so I think in the early fall when the first cool breezes blow would be a good time to go again...flowers would be huge by then...I would also like to go back in the early spring when all the bulbs are blooming. Heard it's the most bulbs planted in one place outside of Holland! There is a really nice spot for children with lots for them to do and there is a Gate close by...bring their bathing suits as there are splash pads for them to cool off in. (this area is towards the end of my video) (I'll come back and add any interesting details or answer questions)
