I don’t think it was necessarily because she was “proper”. Dallas definitely worded that wrong. I think it was more so the image Brandy was portraying to the public and sometimes coming across as if she was better than her peers which is why she had conflict with Monica, Foxy Brown, Countess on Moesha, and even Aaliyah in the early days of their career. The Aaliyah situation was about her making a comment to a magazine or reporter about Aaliyahs rumored romance with R.Kelly...there is a response that Aaliyah gave to it too on KZbin also. Just look up “Aaliyah responds to Brandy” or something like that. Brandy even regrets the image they gave her while coming up because she said it wasn’t her. She definitely has a little hood in her too...she’s related to Snoop Dogg for Christ sakes! Lol! That doesn’t mean anything but I’m sure somewhere deep down Brandy can whoop some ass too lol. And then underneath that she dated a cousin of Cam’ron’s on the low after NSN, whom I used to work with...he was hood asf! He said Brandy was a wild child and was really fun actually opposed to what she showed in the media. It’s all industry politics sadly and this “good girl” or “proper” image I think still haunts Brandy with regret because it wasn’t and isn’t her.

Hmmm I guess it's safe to say that Brandy's rants on Instagram about a year ago about Monica were somewhat valid. Brandy said what Monica portrays on social media isn't who she truly is behind the scenes. Interesting to say the least. I love both of them. I just watched the performance Dallas is speaking of, and you could sense the tension between the two. I guess that's why there were so many props on stage. It’s because he’s white and black people have a tendency to believe in conspiracies. So they are quick to say Vlad is a cop or Vlad is a culture vulture. I don’t think he’s either one. But he can be petty. In the Just Blaze interview, you can tell that Vlad hates Dame Dash and he’s trying to egg Just Blaze into talking negatively about Dash. On the plus side, he’s given a voice to a lot of people that haven’t been heard from in years and he’s given a voice to people who have no other medium to be heard. The demand was obviously there and he was the one who put it together. I respect ingenuity and good business sense. KZbin has been around since 04 or 05. There was plenty of time for someone else to deliver what Vlad is doing.....but no one did.

Yea this beef was mainly caused by Monica. She was f...ed up in the head back then. For example she was worth millions but she was living with her thug drug dealer boyfriend in the projects. So she wasn’t wrapped too tight back then, also you see how many boyfriends/husbands she’s had since then. If you ask Monic about the breakups of course it’s always the guys fault. Brandy must have needed the money really bad when she hooked up with Monica later on in her career. They faked having a friendship for the cameras, but that didn’t last long and currently they are back to hating each other. Too bad there is no video of that punch.
