Cheerleaders do work hard. They work Incredibly hard. But at the end of the day it’s not about them. It’s about the football players. Cheerleaders need to make make space for the football players so they can warm up and get ready. Same with drum lines or maskcots. While entertainment and fun. They are not why people watch the game. They need to serve as a form of entertainment without getting in the way of the players.

The Dallas cowboys are known worldwide by a lot of people purely because they love to watch the cheerleaders. I don’t care about football and the only reason I give this team the time of day is because of those girls. The fact that the players are so disrespectful towards them is awful. The girls do more than half of their publicity. There is an entire tv show that is shown worldwide when even their games aren’t. The boys need to be taught some respect, it’s not all about them.

I was on dance team for my first three years of high school. We were warned that while we waited on the track for the 2nd quarter to end, there is a possibility of getting hit by the football, but NOT WHILE WE WERE ON THE FIELD PERFORMING! Granted, duh, at halftime there are no players on the field, but still. I hate that the NFL can't have these players wait 5 G.D. minutes for the DCC to perform! These guys have the WHOLE GAME to have the field!

Players should be fined for being within certain yardlines if the field during performances. Players have the whole game to show their stuff, if they don't get enough playing time then maybe they should practice more BEFORE game day and NOT during pre-game or halftime performances.

In all honesty, he is not the only player on the field and several Cowboys players were out there with him. They continue to practice on the ends while the girls dance. There have been several times when the Dallas players have been where the ladies are dancing on the other end. The ladies just shift a little bit. I think he just got caught between the two lines while they were leaving and just didn’t know what to do, especially with a camera in his face.

At least the DCC came to play yesterday. I knew in the first five minutes that the Cowboys were going to lose. The 49ers were playing to win and we were playing not to lose. Playing not to lose will get you beaten more often than not. But one thing that needs to change next year and that there shouldn't be players on the field when the DCC are performing. The DCC don't interfere with the game on the field so the players shouldn't interfere when the DCC is doing their job.
