Did you not see what Purdy did to the Dolphins when they loaded the box and blitzed him? Your reaction shows what happens when you only watch highlights. Purdy beats the blitz repeatedly. You know Tom Brady was a 6th round pick at 199 and Purdy was "Mr. Irrelevant" at 262 in the 7th round... not saying he's gonna be the next Tom Brady but just keep in mind someone can come from the bottom and rise to the top. Also he's not just dinking and dunking only, he made that touchdown to CMC and Aiyuk among other throws so obviously they have confidence in his ability to be accurate down the field as well. They actually showed a specific stat that his true air yards are among the highest, not just yac but that's going to be stacked as well with this squad. I'm not saying Parson and co is gonna let that happen as easily but Shannahan is not going to limit throws to short to medium only hes gonna go deep with this guy if the situation calls for it and you have to cover the whole field with this QB. On any given Sunday anything can happen but I don't think anyone wants to see these niners in the playoffs. I'd love to see a rematch of my niners against your cowboys... that went well for us last year but this is a new year and I'd love to see that and how it would match up and play out this time around.
