What if we cut Steele, move Tyler Smith to LT, Guyton to RT, TJ Bass to LG and Brock Hoffman to RG. Then you can wait until the later rounds to draft a swing tackle. That should square up the O-line.

I like this offseason plan that Tom Downey drew up. Although I'm not sure how many checkmarks will be checked off once it happens. We need to get that $100M+ in cap room this offseason to really go out into free agency and actually spend the money. I wanna bring back J Lew, Osa, Hoffman, Turpin, Rico, and Gholston if I can because I need to keep the core intact for the long haul. I can let Zack Martin retire and Tank walk in free agency. If you have the #12 pick in the draft, then you have several options: 1. Draft WR McMillan 2. Draft RB Ashton Jeanty 3. Trade back to gain more picks 4. Go BPA and hope for the best That's basically the plan moving forward for this Cowboys organization. As much as I want Tee Higgins, I think going after Chris Godwin to pair opposite to Lamb would be absolutely amazing to look at. Yes he had that significant injury and such but like Tom said, the Cowboys love to "win the deal" in terms of negotiating. As far as the DT room ia concerned, if Osa does leave free agency, I would absolutely spend the money to go out and get a premium DT and draft some quality guys for depth and such. There are several names in the draft to look at also: 1. DT Mason Graham (Michigan) 2. DT Delone Walker (Kentucky) 3. DT Shemar Turner (Texas A&M) 4. DT Patrick Jenkins (Tulane) 5. DT Alfred Collins (Texas) 6. DT Walter Nolan (Ole Miss) 7. DT Derrick Harmon (Oregon) 8. DT Kenneth Grant (Michigan) 9. DT Thor Griffith (Louisville) The DT room during the draft is gonna have guys to really look at and there are some nice qualities to go along with it. I'm curious and cautious about the Cowboys chances this offseason are but if they dont do this correctly or they just dont care altogether, then they will be much much worst next season than this past season with the tougher schedule.

I know it’d never happen but I wish we could get Graham in the draft. He would be an awesome DT for us. I would move Guyton to RT, that’s what he played in college. I would draft LT first round (I know, unpopular opinion), RB in round 2, DT in round 3, and try to get either Godwin or Diggs, then add someone like Diontae Johnson to compete at WR3. I’d use picks 5-7 for DT depth and S. Bring back Junyeah, Lewis, and Bell. Last I would either bring back Kendricks on a 1 year or another vet LB as a stop gap until Overshown is healthy.

Its so annoying because its the same plan needed every year because nothing has changed. They wait to pay the wrong people (Dak, Lamb, gonna be Micah), they dont resign key role players (look at all the lost player's last year), they arent active in FA, they treat the team like an attraction and a business not a football team trying to win a SB, they are an undisciplined team that gets flagged constantly and hasnt been able to stop the run for years.
