@havenization unfortunately no. i just fix silicone lips by cutting it out. in order to manage overinflated cheeks with silicone (which is near impossible) i fill around it with artefill to balance out the face. sometimes i use fat instead to balance out the face. although it will never be perfect i can at least blend a cheek that looks too big into the rest of the face and make the face look more natural.

hey, dr lam! I was in Jan 11th for this procedure (flew in from l.a.)!!! I was pleased with my surgery (no pain; as you stated)...I have a few questions? post op...what if I used hydrogen peroxide to rinse (as you stated NOT to do in this vid)? will that compromise results; and/or make sutures dissolve prematurely? also, do cold sores hinder the healing process further? and when should I expect maximum swelling reduction? do I need a refill of the steroids?

Will the steroids for the swelling cause stretch marks / lighten skin??

@iambaminc hi. 1. no peroxide!!!! 2. cold sores can hinder the healing so you should be on valtrex. my office can call it in if you don't have someone to do that. 972-312-8188. 3. maximal reduction in swelling is 6 months but even within a few more weeks things will continue to be better. 4. no more steroids. :)

Hi Doctor, how many days after the surgery would i be able to start wearing Makeup and lipstick?

Izumi Yui makeup immediately. lipstick won't make sense until all of the stitches dissolve and that can be up to 2 weeks.

Dear Dr. Lam, how long after reduction I can use a filler to my right upper side as I want to make it even to my left side? I had the silicon "taken out" is it save to use hylaronic acid?
