I’m from the West, my people are there I moved a few years ago. Let’s be honest, I’m for the renovations but I feel like the overall goal is to run black people out. Make it to where we can’t afford to live there anymore. Period. Forcing people to sell their properties, raising taxes, etc. That’s just my take. The South is more… I don’t want to say hood cause the West is hood too, I feel like the South is next!

They knew exactly what they were doing. These developers don’t care about our neighborhoods, that was a prime location and as a historic property it didn’t bring any money to the city or developers. I wish these developers would go away. Left our home alone. I grew up in oak cliff and seen a lot of changes there. We don’t want that nor need it in the hood.
