An annual rollerskating event held in Dallas by Odis Rowlett member of the Dallas XXX Skate Crew! I destroyed my right ankle in May of 1980. While on outdoor skates. This ended a life long love of roller skating. I can feel the energy in this crowd. I can feel the speed rounding the corners and then flipping to backward skating. It is as if I were there on the floor with the music and the energy. Thank you for these awesome videos.

I rolled my ankle over in 2013 (basketball) and never even got the chance to get good at skating. I used to dance and was into footwork so I know I woulda been decent at skating. But I can barely put pressure on my ankle some days now. So I'm here with you, enjoying by watching. Peace

I tried to roller skate a few years ago after not doing so for about 25 years our more ago. I did ok till the 4th time..I then fell and broke my wrist in 4 places. Since then Ive been too afraid to try again. I used to be an excellent skater .

I'm just speechless watching this apart from a 'woooooowww"'s ... It's mesmerizing to watch! Wish we had that type of rink here in the Netherlands. Biggest one we have is about 1/4 of that there. That floor is stunning as well. You are BEAUTIFUL, ALL OF YOU! If I'd live near there I'd definitely be a regular. I'd be asking everyone to teach me and having a blast every week! Man, I wish I hadn't been so afraid of falling when we went to the rink back in the day. I can skate, but, I never got further than turning the corners 🤣🤣. Nobody wanted to skate with me. Not even my boyfriend at the time.🤣😂😂 And he was a floor guard, so you know he could throw down! He tried teaching me but, I was a big scary cat!! However, I love watching you guys skate in this video! It's a true gift!! I'm too old to get out there now! If I didn't break a bone then, I'd surely twist a few now! 🤣😏. Every body would be yelling, "Woman get off the floor!! Or stay your behind in the middle! Aaaaaahahahahaha 🤣!
