Thank God for pastors and evangelist who preach what thus saith the Word of the Lord. Be thankful and don't take for granted what you all have. My heart yearns for this to happen in our church. I do believe God is going to answer our prayers as we step out of our comfort zone. God has been dealing with me to open my home up for prayer and Bible studies. And fasting is something I must give myself to. It has been hard for me. But I am going to do it. My goal is to fast 7 days. I have done 3 days a few times. But I desire to do more. Please pray for me that I will allow God to order my steps and that I obey his every heeding. Not to dismiss it or say not now, later. 2020 is going to be the best and greatest year I have ever lived this far. I believe God has great things in store for the taking as we walk in obedience to him. Please pray for Leland, NC, Wilmington, NC Burgaw, NC and surrounding areas. Please pray for us as God leads you. I'm Lynn Barnhill my husband is Freddie and daughter is Erica. I am expecting God to do great things! God bless you and your church. Daniel specifically went over what he abstained from. He did eat certain foods. We must be very careful with preaching our opinion as Bible. God honors any true sacrifice. Everyone's body is different. As Paul warned, we should not compare ourselves to each other. Our fast is unto God, not unto people; it only matters what God Himself thinks. I know people that fasted 40 days, eating only specific things and God answered and moved on their behalf! I have done extended fasts before, of no food; but not everyone is able to do that. God honors us where we all are. A right heart and sacrifice are the keys.

@@CaidenBorn2016 he specifically said that it's not a fast unless you're not eating any food. That's not true. In Daniel 10:2-3, Daniel specifically mentions the foods he avoided; it was not all foods, and yet God moved and he got a vision and angelic visitation.

@iamfree1094 after study, Daniel didn’t eat anything. Others that fasted as well didn’t eat and Esther took it as far as to not drink. God does honor what one can do but it is possible to completely abstain from food for a period of time.

@@champagnesouth7592 It both saddens and amazes me, how many people speak on the Bible and don't actually even read it. I understand that it's possible to abstain from food. That was absolutely never the point. I have fasted various ways for over twenty years. The point is that this preacher, respectfully, did not speak the truth; but taught his opinion as doctrine. His statement is wrong. Daniel 10 2 In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks. 3 I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled. 4 And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel; 5 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz...." Daniel only abstained from certain foods during this fast. It was not a total fast. This particular fast lasted 3 weeks, and he did eat. God honored his fast and he had a vision.

@@iamfree-ce7xd to my knowledge when Daniel refused to eat certain things he never called it a fast . Biblically any time the word fasting is mentioned it means they did not eat. But God does honor sacrifice and some peoples Health will not permit them to go without eating.

Can anyone say, manipulation and spiritual abuse? (Only for one chuckle? It was funnier than that....🤔) Using words like another level or tap into? Sounds like speaking things into existence doctrine, THAT is New Age language. Sounds like if you're at church more, pray more, do more, fast more; like you're putting a gun to God's head or it's up to us to make God do something or you're a loser. Look into Gothard Doctrine. Can anyone say, descriptive and NOT prescriptive? Can anyone say; adding revelation to the Word of God? Where does it say that if you do ANYTHING, that God HAS to respond to anything we do, much less send a revival? In fact, Where in the Bible does it say we have anything to do with a revival. GOD DOES EVERYTHING. God will do what He wants, when He wants.... And yes, I fast and yes, I believe there is an enemy of our souls, but God is able to do anything with or without us. Just assume did for thought. 🤔🤔🤔🤔
