Thanks for taking me along. This is really great. I can only imagine how many beer cans are at the bottom of the Baker River in Rumney and Plymouth NH. We used to tube down an eight mile stretch and dump our empty's as we finished them. It was wrong, I know. i don't have an excuse. We had so much fun. The girls in their tiny jean cut offs. Lots of cheek action back in the early 70's.

We used to do this in Lake Powell (back when it had water in it). Diving all the places house boats park for the evening and finding more stuff than we could carry. Tackle boxes full of gear, anchors, lawn chairs, fishing poles, a full bottle of cold wine (which we enjoyed), and most anything you can think of. It was much easier there because visibility was 100'+ and back in the 70-80's Powell was close to 100% full and we never saw other divers there. Once boaters start their engines and sped off anything not tied down could blow or fall off. No matter what it's worth once it hits 30' it turns into treasure. Back then you could only dive the inlets because most of the lake was 300'+ deep. Some fond memories were found underwater in the weightlessness and peace of diving.

Me too, only in salt water and saw tropical fish of vivid blues, yellows, reds; cudas, lobster, coral, parrot fish, snapper, saw a sea turtle at 70 ft with only 3 legs; this was long ago and far away. What memories.

I once found a really nice knee board just floating in a lake while I was out jet skiing. It was covered in ants and other bugs using it as a life raft lol. Thats about as cool as my water find go.
