Great stuff! I grew up on that river. As a kid, we’d get there early during the hybrid run (on the Alabama side). I’d look for lures while my dad caught some bait. One season there was a sunken box spring that I had to swim to that was always covered with baits! Glass bottles seemed to be everywhere then-looks much cleaner. Snakes weren’t uncommon in the rocks. This brings back lots of memories!

The Chattahoochee is the river that just keeps on giving.. and just to make it easier, even sorts the cans and sinkers, and leaves them at convenient collection points.
