In my opinion, Dally and Lokassa are the best guitarists on the continent. Their mastery of guitar, I can't find comparison for. I love these two guys and the rest of the soukous makers. Dally you're a rare talent. You're the best. Long life and good health are my wishes for you

Dally kimoko is the best. Look he played all of Awilos hit songs Coupe Bibamba, Moyen Te, etc. the list goes on. For me it would be a toss up between him and Diblo as my favorite guitarist

In my opinion, the comparison is between him and Lokassa. Diblo will fall below these two. Diblo, Oui kilo, caien madoka, beniko popolipo, nene and the rest will come after these two.

@@Blessedheartedly well thats your opinion which is a good opinion tho. However I personally wouldn't compare Diblo or Dally to Lokassa since Lokassa plays rhythm and doesn't play solo. He is his own category. I still think Dally and Diblo are neck to neck as far guitar solo is concerned. Diblo is very versatile in different types of music while Dally can play his runs. Then the others you named Huit Kilo, Nene Tchakou/Djeffard, Caien Madoka, and Beniko are close behind

Excellent. Thank you Dally, and thank you SafariTV Productions. Plenty for soukous guitar lovers to get their teeth into here, from the Maestro Dally himself, guitar ezangali kwanza! A range of material including an excerpt from "Ponce Pilate" by Afrisa. After an interview and some exercises, Dally plays along to several complete tracks, and then breaks them down for ease of learning. My favourites are "MOYIBI", "NINA", "INDE MONIE", and "VOISIN" (which all feature in his masterpiece medley "DALLY SWING", by the way), and also "EMBARGO". Worth every penny...
