One thing for sure.... gonna be enough clay to patch her closed! A few years back... My neighbor rented a backhoe to drain a mud hole in his pasture... he started digging at the water and fished for mud in muddy water for about 100yds. Then he figured out that it would be better to turn around and dig the last 25yds the other way! He considers that one of those life lessons he only had to learn once. Glad to see you diggin’ up OK again!!

Just a question do people on the job site's you go to every say anything about B's stack and sound. If you want to reach out further you need mat's. Playing with unwanted trees seem to be a habit lol.

It has already been said here, but it is good to see you back. Was kinda gittin worried about you. Hoped you were just too busy working to get some videos up. Always look forward to your videos. If your dad does bring out his dozer, on this pond enlargement, would love to see some of that activity in a video. Thank you sir.

Good video Frank. Been wondering what you had been doing. Those old mechanical dredges/cranes were man killers for sure. Not for snowflakes, especially when they were steam powered. In a can with a boiler and live steam. I can’t imagine it

I don't like those spots on a dam. I don't have enough experience for that. I was hoping you would show how you switch the buckets. I'm awkward at it on my Case 580c
@digndurt69364 жыл бұрын
Do you have a quick disconnect or just PINS that came in it? Sounds like PINS if it's awkward to you. Work the snap rings off with heavy screwdrivers unless you have the pliers made for E ring removal. Need HAMMER also. Take the tapered end ring off with bucket resting on curl of bucket, drive out pin with 3 pd hammer and punch if needed. If it doesn't move lift boom slight, watch for feathered bucket movement the knock pin out. Remove be bucket cylinder e clip drive out pin. Bucket off, swing over other bucket and lower stick into opening trying to line up holes look to see if close to opening of stick to bucket hole, Make sure to install pin that came from that hole and replace lock ring. Extend piston into hole of choice, speed or power look in manual if you don't know which is which. If I remember the first hole is power point. Once pin is in and ring in place grease both pins only till you see grease move between the ear of each pin. That's plenty. Good to go. Run it!! My first utility position operating backhoe was on a natural gas crew. Early 80's had a brand new 580D to break-in. Hanging 6 inch yellow wrap steel pipe for the welder. Once tacked and down on skids over ditch I'd sand and backfill last section and load out SPOIL. Awesome position, hanging doubles 80ft lengths best!! Hope my advice helped.

No cover for exhaust pipe when floating ? Burns turbo bearings and puts road crap into it.... you either load a backhoe in reverse, or you cover the exhaust pipe, plug it with rag... lots guys use an old coffee can..... but on a nice chrome stack, at least put a flapper....
@Digginok4 жыл бұрын
Have hauled this machine all over Oklahoma with out a cover, 10700 hours no turbo failure. My previous machine had 8600 hours when I sold it, it is still going strong last I heard. Watch this video and tell me what you think kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3bZg4drq7h_h6c

You are good with a backhoe and I know that's what you like me I would drive that backhoe in the pond and buy a excavator I have both and forget that backhoe
@Digginok4 жыл бұрын
What backhoe do you have?
@jonathanhudson91894 жыл бұрын
@@Digginok it's a older international 260a nothing as nice as yours but I have dug a lot of stumps with it but I got a 50g Deere and don't think about the backhoe anymore you are the best operator I have e very seen keep up the good work be safe from NC
@Digginok4 жыл бұрын
Jonathan Hudson thanks! I would prefer a 50g over an old backhoe. The newer backhoes are way different than the old ones.
