Oh gosh Darlene, your nails are too healthy for this :) Honestly :) It's designed for damaged or very porous nails.

I’m curious as to what files you are using in your videos. They look so sleek & gets all layers of the nails. I always have the bottom layer of nail left under.

My local supplier. I think they are available online too. It's a nail polish drier that has a warm setting

I thought it was bad to go back and forth filing!?
@TheSalonLife7 жыл бұрын
I really think is a old wives tale. I haven't noticed any difference. I will have to go back to my resources. Doug Schoon should have that explained in www.facetofacewithdougschoon.com

Know I'm late in replying, but it has a lot to do with the grit of the file. The usual rule of thumb is this: Grits 180 and above you can file back and forth on the natural nail; any grit below that you file in one direction.
@MadeleineHenderson6 жыл бұрын
"If you’re filing down the natural nail, it’s OK to file back and forth using a 240-grit file. Once you’ve filed it down, “seal” and smooth the edge of the nail by using a shiner buffer and gently “file” from one edge to the other. This technique will prevent splitting and cracking.
