Your videos are thoroughly explained and they don’t make you feel like a dummy! Great job on all! Thank you!

I watched about 2 dozen of your vids and tried a grasscloth (Serena and Lilly) feature wall for first time. Pasting, taping, double cuttting, outlets everywhere - what a workout. It came out pretty good. I thought I would have to do a panel over because it had a couple of small and light abrasions (from my table) that stood out like sore thumbs. Then I remembered how water soluable the color was (a marine blue) so I wet a scrap and lightly dabbed the abrasions with my pinky and the bluish runoff from scrap. I couldn't tell anything was ever wrong. A ham and egg solution to be sure but as a woodgrainer i've painted with glazed fingers a lot. Thanks for all the videos

Spencer, I've seen all of your videos. My wife thinks I'm a nut, but I love them. I'm tackling a similar repair involving a wider area (removed drapery rod brackets) and a high quality textured random match vinyl (easier pattern than your grasscloth). I believe you butted the ends of the replacement pieces together in line with the existing vertical seam where on a new installation they would be double cut. Was that your process? I chose to remove the hollow wall anchors, fill with spackling and prime with Zinzer. In the video, I also didn't see you do anything regarding the old glue on the wall. Is there anything I should do about that other than wipe it as clean as possible with a damp rag? My wall was sized prior to the original install. The old glue is uniform with just some texturing that transferred from the back of the vinyl.

Newish Subscriber, and fearless, to a fault DIY'ER ;) Last question, I promise at least for this week LOL! "IF" you have fixed a section of wallpaper that comes loose three times and it won't stay put...would you remove the entire panel and try with a new panel OR can you use the same piece again. I am using textured, paintable paper over manufactured home walls that are drywall covered in vinyl. Have previously done 2 other rooms no problem.

Use Roman extra tack glue

@@spencercolgan You know originaly I did use Roman based on your recommendations. I ran out the other day and I live in a rural area and so could only buy Zinsser heavy duty 122...I wondered if that was the culprit. Should I remove and cut a new panel or reuse same panel?

@@spencercolgan I have some panels that days later have begun to curl and lift :0 I had done 2 rooms using Roman 880, then half way through this 3rd room I started using the Zinsser paste...and trouble started. One of the paper is prepasted and I still used Roman along with activating the paste on the paper. The feature wallpaper is not prepasted and it is lifting a week later.

@@judyarmstrong8600 lift it up and put paste under it. Push back down. Use 880.
