This figure is a 10! I really doubt if the others I have on preorder this year are gonna beat this out. Only thing I wish is that the Sho face was an entire separate headpiece instead of the faceplate because of the line. But whatever. I really hope they do the male Guyver 2 & Guyver 3. All the preorders sold out so I hope that’s a good sign for the company to continue the line. Great review as always

What an amazing figure! Sadly I had to sell my original Guyver figures years ago so when I saw this figure for pre-order I jumped on it. I just got mine in hand a few weeks ago. I was expected a re-release but what we got was so much better. Also, your photography at the end was on point my man! Keep up the great work and thank you!

I wanted the original for so long but it's price was so out of this world on the secondary market. So when I saw this go up for pre-order, I had to get it. While I waiting for it to ship, I managed to find a Guyver 2 F in the wild to give me a small preview of what was to come. That figure blew me away, but man I was not ready for what this Ultimate Edition would have in store. So worth the wait and not having to shell out secondary market prices. I hope we see more Guyver ultimate edition series.

Crazy the retail on this is about 80$ Over the year here in the states the price got bumped to about $200 with the lowest price being about $160 if you look hard. I was reluctant to buy it but then i figured i could use it as a place holder until i can buy the max factory bio booster armor guyver 1 limited edition figure. Which to me would be my definitive guyver figure. It don't get any better than that one but the 600 figure is a nice second place and will do for now and hard to find in its own right.

Just got this a few weeks ago. BEAUTIFUL figure and amazing articulation! I wish I had this back in March because I actually got to meet David Hayter and had him sign my Guyver 2 DVD. But this would've been so much cooler to have him sign this too! Such an awesome figure!

@D Amazing..what I like about this version is they took elements of the original max factory and the previous figma version and combined it into this version and added even more articulated joints. The size is definitely bigger than the figma just a tad shorter than the max factory original. Like I said if they made the leg joint more flexible to do the splits and maybe make the head pivot a tad more so he could look up better than this would be perfect but that aside this type of Guyver is what I’ve been waiting for after owning the original max f and previous figma versions

I really hope this line continues and we get a proper figma male Guyver 2. I could only find a larger scale Guyver 2 that's part of "the Bio Fighter collection." And an updated Guyver 3 would be welcome, as well. But, what I really need is the canonical male Guyver 2 in figma. And new versions of Guyver Gigantic and Gigantic Dark so, I can finally get those and not have to consider outrageous resell prices I can't afford anyway. Some thoughts, Guyver 3 should come out a little taller and bigger than Guyver 1, like the manga. And Guyver 2 I think should look pretty close to as if a G. I. Joe Classified boosted with the armor. The Gigantics (may not likely happen but,) should be 10-12 inches to give the feel that their relative size is supposed to be in the manga. In the posing part of the video: Cool! You had the same idea as me. To pose the Guyver fighting a geiger alien. And then a Predator. I had a xenomorph posed in my meager display for Halloween. When I was removing it from the display, I thought I could get the arm free of its' sticking position with enough careful force to straighten the arm out... I broke the arm at the elbow joint. Now when I get the chance to mess with my figures again, I'm going to have Sho slicing the alien's arm off with his vibration sword.

Incredible! Loved the review! As a massive guyver fan, I think I’ll have to get this 😊 Are the shoulder armor pieces connected to the arms? That was an issue I had with the original Max Factory released from the 2000s, shoulder pads kept falling off every time you moved his arms.

Yes but they move flunently better than the original max factory version (which I still own) the shoulders aren’t glued but the shoulder piece is connected so you can raise it when you move the arm in a raised position but unlike the original max f version the joint stays flush against the arms so everything moves in one motion just like a gundam model kit shoulder arm if you ever had any

I really like figma and a lot of the licenses they have I just wish they would go a little harder and stop abandoning a lot of their lines. I really hope they redo all the guyvers. I remember when they got the terraformars license and all they made was the cockroach.

I love my figure first guyver figure I have bought and no regrets unfortunately the knee joints were very loose on my figure but slight applications of Krazy glue did the job and now he stands tall without the use of the figure stand
