No no. Dimash is covering Eric Carmen, who wrote the song. Celine Dion also covered the song. Carmen reaped many accolades in the mid 1970’s and has his on performance on KZbin. Sorry I get a bit annoyed when he gets no credit and Celine does.

You should know that this is not a Celine Dion cover because this is not a Celine Dion song. I understand that giving your age you have only heard Celine Dion's cover of the song but that doesn't make it hers. The song was written and recorded in 1975 by Eric Carmen and it became a number two hit for him at the time. Dimash's version and Celine's version are both covers of Eric Carmen's song. It's important to give credit where credit is due.

He has so much fun with his concerts, not to say that he isn’t very serious with some songs, but he always involves the audience. I do believe that Dimash is about to become really well known in the US, ironically Dimash just met with David Foster, the man who wrote I Have Nothing, Whitney Houston and a song for Celine, Mr Foster has 16 Grammy’s so in will be interesting to see if they collaborate 😊
