Good ear young man! I've loved this song since the early 1970s, but this orchestral version takes it up a notch. Gary's vocals are amazing! Thanks for sharing this.

Elvis was half the reason black music culture THRIVED from the late 50s forward, so we'd better PRAY someone else comes along with a free gift as good as his "stealing" it from us. BB King and THOUSAND other black blues and soul artists ate steak and bought Cadillacs thanks to Elvis "stealing" our culture and presenting it so white people could get it, so I hope we can finally stop taking food out of our OWN children's mouths in the name of "social justice" and stop being the so-called "progressive's" clowns forever.

As a Detroiter, I love this song about my city, but we're bouncing back. Their tour bus was stuck in traffic on Telegraph (a main Detroit thoroughfare) when the idea came to Knopfler. I like your hat, lol. And, of course, your channel. New subscriber. Thanks.

Y’all have no idea how much African American music culture influenced k-pop back in the 8-90’s when it was coming out of Japanese egg shell.

I got into SB19 because of the vocal timbre of Ken, I am not into PPOP group songs but when I heard their song Hangang sa Huli and Ken’s part into it I was instantly hooked because of Ken’s timbre, because that natural manly, sultry and deep vocal is what I prefer for a man singer. His voice stands out for me every time, his vocal gives so much importance to the group.
