Exactly, him and Nonu are the best two 12’s, but DDA never gets respect. Best defensive 12 of all time, and incredible in all the World Cups he’s played. He was player of the tournament imo in 2019.

What an epic tribute. I remember a time early on in his career with the stormers when I couldn't understand why he was being overlooked by the springboks. And now he's a back to back world champion with them. Awesome.

De Allende has to be one of the strongest backline players in the world. His upper body strength and leg drive is very underrated. He can stand up to almost any player in the world.

Could never understand why so many people wanted to talk him out of the Bok team. Luckily many more people and more importantly, the coaches, backed him since 2012. Strong, effective centre and great defender. Can also turn over the ball like any of the best loosies. Best inside centre in the world imo for a couple of years already. Four different coaches are not going select you over a period of 12 years, if you are not the best.

Thank you for making this compilation video. No one personifies work rate and attitude more than DdA. Criminally underrated and under-appreciated because he's less sizzle and more steak. I couldn't be happier that he is the Boks' greatest ever 12, and will kill it at 13 and 14 also. Love this legend!

Greatest, most Consistent, reliable inside center of this generation. NO DOUBT. My favourite try is when Kolisi was making a nuisance of himself against the A.B'S in midfield and offloaded to De Allende. 10:48

He’s one of the greatest World Cup players of all time. Amazing in 2015, player of the tournament in 2019 imo, and great again in 2023. Best defensive 12 of all time, he really is like an extra loose forward, always gets over the gainline, and has scored huge tries in big moments like against Wales in 2019 and France in 2023.
