About the music, going for melancholy through anxiety to suffering and back. Lovely work. I have always enjoyed the sound of a minor chord with a ninth. There is some thing longing about it. Beautifully produced video. It's like some thing I might do if I had any budget at all.

@@robertwinfieldstabler7697 Thank you so much for listening! Yes, the ninth chord of the main theme is really what makes the difference and I'm glad you find the same emotions that drove me to write this piece. The video was made with a very low budget but a lot of "love".

For a short piece it is quite powerful! And lovely. It proves that contemporary music need not be atonal, athematic or dreary. (I’ve just been at a major British music festival and heard several pieces by a major British [female] composer and they were all dire (the anthem was OK, but meh!)) And a piece by a young male composer was the musical equivalent of aural putty - bland, uninspired, mediocre - he teaches composition in a British university.
