Dark is the omniscient of clarity, where light is the flame. Within us are these things, memories of realms and worlds since passed. Odin gave his eye for knowledge, before knowledge there is only blankness, a clean slate, an easel for creating. The realms of alfheim and svartalfheim are constantly fighting over the light of creation, one because of innate fear and pompousness the other for greed and distaste. All things are push and pull, just as light and dark.
