Thanks for the shout-out! I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it, like I said in my video I also thought all that stuff was fake, and I've been saying that for YEARS! I didn't feel sick myself, it was only two people in a packed cinema... it was very similar to the second for me, so if you are worried you will be fine! It's just some people have reactions to gore or fake blood that they can't help.

And T3 is about to bury the $200M Joker 2 film this weekend! Just keep this franchise as far away as possible from Hollywood, cause you know they’ll destroy it. Small budget horrors are far more entertaining than a Hollywood remake of Michael Myers, Candyman, Pinhead or Chucky. You can tell that everyone involved in a Damien Leone film, poured their heart and soul into it. Congratulations on such an achievement! Directors like yourself are the future, not Hollywood!

Just got home from seeing 3. This is the rare franchise that gets better with every installment. Damien crafts tension like a master of horror and the way he humanizes all of his characters makes them feel more real than potential livestock for Art to slaughter. Bravo.

I just saw it a couple of days ago and I completely agree. Immediately with the first scene, my stomach started turning because within a few minutes, I could tell they were making me emotionally invested in those characters and something bad was about to happen to them. It’s actually very rare that movies get this level of anxiety or any of emotion from me. I do feel and experience things during movies, lol, I’m not a monster, but rarely do they make me feel *this* much. The Terrifier movies do. The fact that Art the Clown is named “Art” is on the nose. Good art, at its core, should be thought-provoking, and even better art will make you uncomfortable and maybe even upset. Art the Clown is a master at this. The conversations my husband and I have been having since watching the series in regard to art and morals has been so cool to see set in motion by this franchise. Damien Leone and all of the Terrifier crew and cast are amazing, I can’t wait to see what all they do next, both in relation to Terrifier and not.

@Blainprime

Hatchet and Terrifier are arguably the only franchises we've had where it's literally made for shock and gore. However, I didn't care for Hatchet 2 or Victor Crowley. I think the 1st is a horror staple and 3 has a lot of fan service in the horror community. 2 was just waaaaay to low budget looking for me. On the opposite end I didn't like Terrifier 1. I loved All Hallows Eve and T2. Honestly I just appreciate how Damien has stuck to his own idea and is trying to make this a very big thing. Here's to T4 🥂
@WyattSawyer74
@WyattSawyer74 2 ай бұрын
@@Blainprime I absolutely love the first 3 Hatchets, they are awesome but I will admit part4 "Victor Crowley" is a tough one to get through for the wrong ressons. While I love T2 amd can't wait to see Part3 I really prefer the first Terrifier. It's a dark, dirty, low budget grindhouse throwback thats simple and straight forward and that all makes it evem freakier and enjoyable for me. It's the most horrifying of the Terrifiers and Hatchets imo even if it is lacking in story and scope but that just adds to the charm and brutal nihilism of it.

I know these movies aren’t for everyone, but this guy deserves so much respect. He’s literally an independent filmmaker who has turned his extremely low budget projects into a million dollar franchise. After finding success he turned down studios and the usual outside funding (he did take money for the sequels but he didn’t sell the IP or give away any of his power). But most importantly he’s created an unrated franchise that literally pulls no punches - yet he’s managed to make it a mainstream success unlike anything we’ve seen before. He’s literally the perfect example of an artist who believes in his own work and went for it without selling his soul.

3:30 he’s talking about @spookyastronauts here! Super cool. I saw this video from her! I’m not going to lie. I started feeling a little sick watching Terrifier 3 last night in Theaters but the theater also felt hotter than usual.

“If you go to far you alienate the audience, you do a disservice to the Art character” This right here is EVERYTHING that the modern studios are missing. They don’t care about the audience and they certainly don’t care about the established and beloved characters that have kept a franchise going.

I'll be keeping my eyeballs on the weekend box office intake! I was a horror fanatic back in the 80s and into the 90s, watching anything and everything, but there was only 1 scene from one movie, or rather a documentary, from a release on VHS called 'Shocking Asia', in which they showed a sex change operation involving penis removal, and it was disturbing. 'Shocking Asia' Also, back in the early 80s, when I was 14-16, I found that, not Hawaiian Punch, but rather Hawaiian Punch Concentrate made for great blood effects.

at the end it touches an important point, Art is the killer that the genre needed, I love the classic horror icons but Art is different from the rest being a character without rules, he doesn't follow rules like other killers, he doesn't care about anything, he mocks, he attacks whoever he wants and that's the great thing about terrifier and it was something the genre needed. Damien has given back to the genre what was lost and what characterized it, nowadays studios limit characters and directors so much that they can't bring out the full potential as he was able to do.

I'm sure Adam Green is seething right now that Leone didn't mention HATCHET as an iconic modern horror franchise Granted, those movies never got the mainstream success of SAW, but Adam has made four of those movies.

I saw this coming Leone did so well with that shoestring budget of $35000. He completely wowed people with the psychological element. You can really see his roots in that film. And with a bigger budget, they definitely did more gore scenes. Most likely cause that's what many people want and Hollywood knows that. But imo the psychological element that was put into the 1st movie and its simplistic yet disturbing appeal was so well done that it spawned a second and third with a theatrical release. Leone, I would absolutely love to see a movie where you didn't reel it back. Keep killin it Leone and Thorton and rest. I went and saw 3 on the 11th. But the 1st terrifier man that one is my favorite.

I also like Nightmare on Elm Street part 2. It has some issues like Pacing, and logic, but it's mean, and one of the darkest if not the darkest version of Freddy. The acting in it is good, Jesse is good the female is good, Grady is good. It's got some wierd ass scenes in it. The only issues is odd pacing, and Freddy showing up IRL, etc. But it's a grossly under rated film.
