Yea this is true love. True love for me is when you are willingly to do anything for the lover so that he or she can keep going in their direction. The love starts when you care deeply that you let go just to know that they are better off the way you met them. Love can be hurtful sometimes and its better to just leave a situation of pain then having to lean in constantly trying to fix things. Love acts on its own without the need to prove anything. Because love grows in the heart and heals the mind. The more apart the more you value that person regardless what they did or didn't do.

It's "manger", .not "some angel". Manger is a very pretty rare flower that you just want to look at, instead of picking it up for selfish reasons. He found something rare, out there, in a strangers eyes, but does not want to limit their freedom or change them in any way. * "Where love has eyes and is not blind" *perfectly sums up the message of this song, IMO. Because the saying that "love is blind" is not about love, but just physical or chemical attraction. It seems like Damien has found a different attitude to love, absolute love, not limited by culture or expectations. True love is not blind, but sees all the aspects of the person or people you love, including those that you may not like. I hope this low quality wall of text helps someone, somehow, like it helped me.

Came across this video on my home page. First time I heard you and I really love this song. My wife and I use to listen to Thistle and Shamrock and Celtic Connections every Saturday night. We lived in the White Mountains of Arizona. She passed away in December followed by her father who passed two weeks after. Hard time the end of last year and beginning of this year. I really miss the Celtic shows with her and in Tucson I haven't found the shows. I make my own shows off KZbin sometimes and that is great. Otherwise it just hasn't been the same. When I find someone like you it really is incredible. Strange how music can heal the soul. Maybe not when I think about muisc as my life and with Brenda it was our life. She didn't watch TV and we would Cook dinner and listen to music to match our cuisine. Sorry about the long note. I have done this much the last 8 months. Thank you for this wonderful song.

It just gets a little easier, but then something happens and you are reminded of a beautiful moment.
