I kept a food and drink diary for a month last year, as long as you release you're not an Olympian and only looking for a 10% improvement its a fun thing to do. Love your content, prey for wind.

I've been using one of those roll up beach mats made out of reeds to set my kite on. It's not quite big enough but I can fold up the kite without sand getting on the bottom of it. They shed water and sand better than a towel or tarp and lay flat.

I hit my full-carbon twintip against a rock and my wife helped me fixing the dent with some super-durable kind of nail lacquer. You have to have an UV lamp to do it though :) but if you do, the process is very quick.

Hello Damien. I have not been able to watch your vids lately. This is a bit off-topic. I want to ask what is your go2 wingfoil set up these days for 10 to 25 knots? Did you get on the mid-length bandwagon or are you still using the regular wing boards? What in your opinion are the pros and cons between mid-lengths and regular wing boards? Thanks!

That’s a loaded question! It’s a great topic for discussion and a potential video idea too. In my experience, I’m currently using a 55L, 4'6" board, which feels like a good middle ground for my weight of 150 lbs. Pros: It’s nimble and a lot of fun when foiling. The lightweight design makes it easy to maneuver. Cons: Compared to a larger board, like a 100L floater, I sometimes struggle to get up on foil, especially when the wind drops. There are moments when I hold back on doing tricks because I know if I land off foil, I might not be able to get going again. Longer and narrower boards are generally easier to get up on foil because they start moving quickly. However, they can feel a bit tippy, which can be challenging for intermediate riders.

If I can share any advice, take notes about your session. Write down your board, foil, wing, wind conditions, water conditions, tide, tree movement, windmill speed, etc I have been taking notes every session and I pretty much have it down to a science. I can look at the ocean and look at the windmill farm and know if I can wing or not and what wing to take. The HARDEST part of Watersports is Mother Nature. You’re about to become the greatest weatherman you know
