Wow another great Canadian anthem. John Kay was born in Russia but the family immigrated to Toronto Canada in 1958. Steppenwolf was inducted into Canada's Rock Hall of Fame in 2004. Some great history & music. Once again, you did this song justice!

Man, this brings me back when I watched Steppenwolf for the very first time with John Kay and his sungasses. I was 11 or 12 years old in 1968 and after they finished, my older sister asked me if I liked them. I said hell yeah, then I asked her and she said yes. I went out and bought the 45 then. Good job guys.

These guys should be called The Master Class Band. Every song they play nails every detail of the original, while deftly improving the execution. The videos pick up details of the arrangements, equipment, and "good as they get" individual performers. DAMM, that drummer's sharp!

Actually, they did not in any manner. They are an OK backyard group.

That's pretty tight but I got to say that Distortion at the beginning was pretty weak dude... like does your guy not know how to just shove his humbucker up into the amp and make it scream and warble? Also side note: do you have any idea how hard it was to get my speech to text to recognize the word warble?
@bradkeyboards Жыл бұрын
Strats have single coil pickups, not humbuckers. Agreed feedback is lame, so is the keytar. These guys suck
@MarkBaker564 ай бұрын
Astrochronic Have you ever coaxed feedback by placing the headstock against the speaker baffle. Try it out. Hey Brad was the tambourine up to your standards ?

Give up on the keytar and get a real keyboard that would sound better.
