Carl, you're wicking technique is spot on. Tried multiple times and failed until I tried sticking the cotton in first. Top man. Works a treat. Thanks

@@MrFreestyler71 hey Carl, just wondering if you ever experienced vacuum issues with this tank? Last couple of builds I've taken it all apart and cleaned, but there seems to be an issue of liquid flow. Once I loosen top a flurry of air bubbles rise up. But hardly any when it's tightened. Any advice would be great. Cheers

@@krisgilmartin9421 can happen, but to eliminate it, comb out the wick a bit more and it will be fine

I can't stress enough "Don't put to much cotton in the wicking hole's, like they show on the instruction manual...if you do you will get a really DRY BURN!" Listen to what Carl says just a few little straggles barely dipping in the wicking holes but do not block the juice flow underneath, I finally learned to do it in front of my desk lamp and make sure you can fully see the light on the other side, if you don't take your tweezers and push some of the cotton back up to top. I have to agree once you get the wicking down straight....THIS IS THE BEST RTA, SO FAR! Carl I love the way you described the wicking process! I just subscribed to your channel! I will be watching a lot more of your videos here in Houston Texas. Take Care!

Hi Carl, what's the best replacement mesh do you get? Does it have to be The size 16×6.8mm or can you get different sizes to fit? Like the wotofo mesh that's 17x 8.5mm? Just new to all this mesh builds, been using standard coils in rdas for some time now but want to get into the rdta mesh coils builds!
@MrFreestyler714 жыл бұрын
I just use the nexmesh strips that are pre cut to the size you need, they come in a little plastic container with 10 strips

@@MrFreestyler71 Thanks Carl I will check the nexmesh out, and you've got yourself a sub 👍

Great review m8 all the way from Liverpool anybody who hasn't already got a mesh RTA get the kylin m do not get the Doom RTA I have been wicking tanks for 5 years now the Doom RTA is too much messing around and those dry hit really sting I got the kylin m for £25 from a local brick and mortar shop it's easy to build the flavour is better around about the same price

Thanks mate for the comments, after using the Kylin M imo it has better build quality but the vape is near as dam it to the doom, cheers buddy
@MrAckers755 жыл бұрын
People are not wicking the doom correctly. No need to but cotton down the hole just trim cotton right to the edge of the coil and fluff it out. All your doing is blocking the juice flow by putting coil down the hole

how long should you get use out of one of the mesh strips before you need to change to a new one?
@MrFreestyler715 жыл бұрын
Hi stewart, you can get I would say 2-3 months or longer, reason being is that mesh does not gunk up like normal coils do and a dry burn of mesh at very low wattage cleans the strip to like new and only slightly darkens over time.
