I'm back with more #Damned25... my year-long PERIOD MODELS ONLY playthrough of every Warband in Games Workshop's GRIMDARK Classic... Mordheim. That's right... I'm gonna smoke the whole pack on this one.
Today I'm joined by Shawn Lazaros and his lovely Undead Warband made from the modern Underworlds range.
A HUGE thank you to everone that reached out about DAMNED25 so far. I haven't been able to get back to everyone but we've pretty much completed the search for Cardstock Terrain thanks to Barry Faith! A massive thanks to Chris Medalis who donated his old BOX that you see in this episode and also to Shaun Madgwick who just up and made a wicked looking new Intro and Graphics set for it totally unasked that blew me away.
To anyone that reached out that I didn't get back to, THANK YOU. I took a stab at answering everyone once the stuff had been found but It keeps getting buried as the inbox fills up and I'm sure I missed some people. You're all AMAZING and I'm so excited that folks thought this project was fun.

Unrelated note, I was building the new Darkoath Wilderfiend while watching this... or rather, I built like a third of it. I swear GW is going out of their way to carve these models up into as many crazy jigsaw parts as possible.

Two Possessed?! You're a brave man! Looking forward to seeing how the series plays out, since the Cult was the one warband that seemed super risky if you didn't leave off at least one of the big guys from your starting roster.

Love seeing mordheim. Went to a 2 day event a couple of months back with possessed. Started with just 5 dudes: magister, 3 beastmen and a possessed with 2 extra arms and blackblood. Obviously the possessed died game 1 but I was allowed to restart the band. Game 3 the magister went to visit the shadow lord and didn't come back! Everyone on Ash's channel seems to forget that Vampires start with 2 attacks on their profile (so would have 2 sword attacks and 1 dagger attack) 😅

22:00 "Spells are cast in the shooting phase, and can be used even if the caster is in hand-to-hand combat." All charges should be declared first, and never measured until all charges are already declared.

I’m so used to some form of alternating activation in skirmish games I had forgotten how much that skews model count. Cool too see a small count elite start be an option even if it’s still a challenge and risk.

Yay, Mordheim! Those recovery rolls were not what I expected. With just four models, losing any of them could be catastrophic. Maybe playing with a super risky start is the way to go :D

Love the video. Just the rule errors are hard to look at. Crit on a 4 and then still role armor after. No fear check for magister and the beastman charging the vampire. Vampire rolling 2 dice for attacks with off-hand even though he has 2A on the profile to begin with... High quality production as always but I feel the game is a bit rushed and the rules suffered
