Funny. Damon saw through Blair while Noel Gallagher went to Blair's celebrity parties. Blur over Oasis in every way 👌

My parent saw through him in 1994. Despite being Conservative voters they hated him even more than they did Harold Wilson and Michael Foote. I wonder if they would have preferred John Prescott had become Labour leader and then Prime Minister.

He saw what I saw in Blair way before he was elected. I knew F.A about politics back then. Like many, all I knew about politics came from Spitting Image. But Blair just seemed so slimy. He was talking about being "anti-sleaze" as if the private lives of MP's really mattered and he was clearly putting on a show and making woolly statements about the type of country he wanted to see but not saying anything of substance regarding how he planned to get there while the conservatives were still playing to the intellectual audience. In other words, not only is he a war criminal, he also sold us out to the "ewwww" and made us americas puppet, but he ruined the country AND politics in this country. I wish it wasn't in my heart to hate but I really hate Blair... more so than bush... At least bush could be written off as an idiot.

My parents saw through him right from '94 when he was standing in the Labour leadership contest. I couldn't until '98 when I saw him in real life for the second time. Despite them being Tory voters I never heard them criticise any other Labour leader as much as they criticised Blair. I think they would have even preferred John Prescott to be leader and PM. Mabye even Michael Foot. Better red than Blair. To them he was a young upstart who wanted to modernise the country. He was to them what we now call an empty suit.

Russell Brand, so why was this chosen to be in the title but not explored in the interview? Trying to use the hook of Brand but cower from talking about what Brand talks about?....hmmmmmm?

As a country I feel like we didn’t really have much of a say about whether we wanted to be part of the war in Iraq. If we had genuinely been consulted then I believe that there would have been a resounding NO!! Attacking a whole country based on the actions of a group of radicals is not my idea of democracy is all I'll say…

He came across in real life as over charismatic to the point of manic & over rehearsed. He didn't just walk into rooms. He would present himself. One year before he became PM when I attended a rally at which he was speaking he walked into the room surrounded by security men even to the front of him. Then they parted to reveal him. It was like the Men in Black video by Will Smith. By contrast Gordon Brown & Ed Miliband came across as just regular guys & not the geeks that the media portray them as. He would vigorously shake hands while crushing the other person's hand. I think a handshake from Blair is a curse. I know somebody who did & then that night her husband told her he wanted a divorce. You shake hands with Blair & then there is a rip in the space-time continuum like a Sliding Doors moment.
