THIS IS FUCKING BEAUTIFUL! I can't explain my feelings for this video! Delena is the best couple in the whole world. They had survived everything and had proved that love does conquer all. The amount of crying from last night was too much to handle. I don't even want to think when Elena wakes up and saves him from all the darkness. She was and is his savior. His light and hope. I can't even imagine how much the world is going to scream when Elena rises and kicks Sybli's ass. Her light always shone every dark corner where Damon belonged to, but her presence would make him rush into her arms to hear her say "everything is going to be okay." His guilt consumed him by remembering every ounce of blood he spilled, but she is going to see past that and forgive him. You know why? Because she loves him. She loves every part of him and knows that together can fight every obstacle that comes to them. Elena sees the man beneath the monster and she would shut the mouth of everyone who says Damon is a lost cause. Nobody had the decency to ask Damon if he is okay! No one ever believed that he was worth saving except Elena. Elena is the reason he is still fighting. Not Stefan, not Bonnie, or even himself. Elena; his Elena. Damon needs her back in his arms and listening to her voice will help him fight the one who whispers dirty secrets to his ear. Elena and Damon are meant to be together and I'm damn sure they deserve their happy ending. I don't care if you are Stelena, Bamon or anti-DE, but let me tell you something: you can't deny that Damon has grown into a man who only wants peace with himself and be happy. He is one of the best characters in history and I want him to have that happiness. He needs her. He needs Elena Gilbert.

Damon, and Elena have always had the most beautiful chemistry, understanding, and friendship I have ever seen. Damon, was very closed off from everyone else but when he was with Elena he openly spoke about how Katherine treated him and even though he didn’t trust anyone that easy he trusted Elena and she trusted him. Like Elena said Damon was dangerous but not in a way that it scared her but she felt comfortable being around him. To me delena was always meant to be since the beginning of the vampire diaries season one episode one pilot. She denied that she had feelings for Damon because she didn’t want to hurt Stefan’s feelings but when she became a vampire those feelings magnified. Rose also told Jeremy in Season 3 episode 19 Heart of darkness Stefan, is different his love is pure he’ll always be good for her Damon, is either the best thing for her or the worst. Rose about Damon, and Elena’s relationship. While she told Alaric to erase her memory of Damon Elena also said that Damon gave her the necklace that resembled her feelings for Stefan I know it hurt him but he did it and in that moment I loved him it was the most selfless he’s ever been.

To all of us. The beautiful and heartbreaking journey they had gone through and it is not over yet. Sara, I wish I could explain what I'm feeling. I wish I could tell you how much this means to me right now. It's been a rough couple of days, still is tbh but after watching the episode today my heart's been filled with a calming sense of joy all of sudden and at the moment I'm managing not to think about anything else that could ruin that. Then I watch this and I feel like all my emotions, the same ones I have been feeling for years -ever since I saw them for the first time in my screen- are kinda imploding inside of me and it's the best feeling in the world. Sara, there are no words to describe how epic that video is. you used your superpower of vidding parallels like it's your calling and turned this special relationship into something so magical. in case I don't say it enough, you are immensely talented. your creativity, your mind and your spirit are remarkable. you showed how vidding isn't just a "lame hobby" as some people may call it - it's a calling, it's an art form. also I 100% agree with everything you said in your db. tvd just isn't the same without elena. I am not even saying that just because of damon, but because she used to be the center of the series and no matter how much we love all the other characters, the show feels completely different with her being gone. but it is the last season and we'll end with a great bow (just like dawson's creek once proved that after 2 crappy seasons you can still have one heck of a series finale). until then, such sweet little scenes like the one in 8x01 are enough for my shipper heart.
