I been watching this kid for a while now. I like how he's evolving into strong ball player. Can't wait to see this kid in the NBA.

I don't understand what is so amazing bout working hard at what you like. I am 17 and I am extremely envious of Damon, all the support he get, all the resources he have. In Singapore, we don't have none of that. It is extremely difficult for you to receive guidance here, and decent basketball courts are hard to find. All you have is you, countless hours by yourself, your shitty outdoor school court and the internet. There is no way in hell you can go anywhere in life playing basketball here. Maybe I'm sounding like a hater, but when I have my own kids, I will go a long way in helping them achieve their dreams, be it music, sports, academic.. whatever, just like Damon's dad. Huge props to Damon though for cherishing what he has and working hard to achieve his dreams.

great potential and good shooting rhythm. good dip, sway, and doesn't have a hitch. the only thing i can see being a problem is his release sometimes. his right elbow sticks out, which is why the fingers on his right-hand at 7:07 are pointing outward to his right rather than down (cookie jar). this means that he's shooting two hands which, technique-wise, will prevent him from becoming an elite shooter. i plateaued completely until i changed my release.

When I heard, "a lot of lifting" I immediately shook my head... Kids should not be lifting much until like sophomore year if that. Plyos, resistance, and body weight excersices are much healthier and better early on. In less that 10 years they will regret all the heavy lifting done at an early age.
@simonn.394410 жыл бұрын
That and it stunts your growth
@GerardoTostado10 жыл бұрын
Point is, they should not start lifting until their body develops and this kids has not developed

My nephew plays for the U16 US soccer team and he doesn't lift only resistance and plyometric training. Kids that lift may have an advantage early on but over time really affects their body

@ProfessorBigCat10 жыл бұрын
They said multiple times that, within the 3 gym sessions, he does do lifting, Also, muscle development is different for everyone. Some people never truly beef up, as the case with people like K. Durant and T. Prince. I mean, Michael Jordan never truly worked out until the Bad Boys started pushing him around.
@kendallgreen683210 жыл бұрын
Thank you and I apologize for my swearing. But as far as him getting bigger If he indeed is playing varsity basketball what competition is he playing. Idk about you but I can't see him guarding seventh woods Malik monk Malik Newman or any well know pg at the high school level. Even a average player at 6'0 200 could give him issues physically not knocking his skill just would like to see him put on some muscle
@slater1ist10 жыл бұрын
he added strength training of course, but that comes w/time. He's way bigger than he was when he was 12 and 13 so I can see the difference in his game and everything, but trust me by the time he is a senior at his highschool he will be 165 in pure muscle.
