"Dampa" is the Filipino term for a style and way of eating. The translation for hut or shack and used synonymous to "Paluto" restaurants. A Paluto eatery is where diners have the freedom to choose the ingredients and how they want it cooked. The term "Paluto" is a Filipino dining experience where it's like, you cooking at home but you're not the one cooking. This type of diner is where you buy your seafood in the adjacent wet market plus the ingredients then hand in over to a cooking station of your choice. You then choose the cuisine on the menu on how you want your food to be cooked, all for a minimal fee. Truly, an entire dining sensory experience that your taste buds will enjoy. Filipinos like bringing their foreign guests and vacationing friends here for a true local dining experience on wide variety of tasty foods.
