@alrosewanderquestАй бұрын
So many beautiful snorkeling spots in Coron that offer various rich marine life like you're swimming inside a giant aquarium. If I have to pick one, I will say at Siete Pecados Marine Park. It is a protected coral sanctuary with diverse marine life. The marine park is known for its underwater wildlife, with schools of fish and vibrant corals even visible from the boats.

Nice videos. Thanks for taking the time to make them. What month were you in Coron? I'll be in Philippines this coming mid Oct -Nov. hoping the weather will permit a visit to stay at the houseboat. Lastly, traveling Airswift was fine for you? I'm seeing a lot of bad reviews for the airlines. Too bad it's the only one that flies into Coron or el Nido.
@alrosewanderquest3 ай бұрын
@@jamesp5438 We were there late Sept to October. Luckily we experienced just isolated pockets of rain. Oct-Nov should be perfect time frame to visit. We have no problem with AirSwift. Yes, they do cancel or move departure time when there's a heavy downpour or zero visibility at the small airport in El Nido. Like I said sometimes isolated pockets of heavy rain fall which doesn't last very long. So either AirSwift or a 6hr van drive if you choose to land in a bigger airport in Puerto Princesa. The place is rural so be flexible. It's part of the adventure. Have fun!

Amazing video AlRose! Thank you. Would you mind elaborating on the type(s) of passes required? ON recreatiuon.gov, I see around 4 for different parts of the trail/falls...a little confusing. Add to that, I believe I also need an actual parking pass? Would it be better for me to park at the camp ground to have access to most of everything? Thx.

We booked our private tour from our accommodation at Paolyn's houseboat. For sure on private tour, you can personalize your itinerary as you please from the list of places they go. You can also dictate how long you want to stay on particular islands that you like most. Anyway, most accommodations in Coron can arrange island hopping tours for you whether for private or joiner. It's for their guests convenience and to maximize vacation time with no stress. 😊👍

What else would you do after a few hours in the caves. We will be there for the day.
@alrosewanderquest5 ай бұрын
After exploring Ape Caves, places close by you can check-out are the Lahar Viewpoint and Lava Canyon trail (5.4 mi round trip hike). Stop at Ape's Headquarters and get maps and infos. In our case, that 2.5 mi long lava tube took us ridiculously long hours after climbing over 27 boulder fields and of course the video filming in low headlamp light. After that, we just want to eat, lol. Have a fantastic exploration and hiking! Don't forget your flashlights. It's chilly and pitch-black!
