At 25:48 , det(t) has been equated to 2pi/w1, but how can that be true? For linear approximation, del(t) has to be small enough to apply. In the given proof, det(t) cannot be equal to the time period as the time period can be arbitrarily large for any SHO.

Bro how will we show that damping has little or no effect on frequency of a harmonic oscillator if it's quality factor is large??Please reply
