I've never had damp ever, looks like a nightmare to live with. Keep your windows open, clean your gutters,. Have good drainage, don't dry your close on radiators.

The one important question he didn't ask is "has the floor been changed from timber subfloor to concrete. That would of helped to understand if its a cold spot due to airflow or one due to trapped moisture.

I like how your taking piss out of Roger, I saw the video earlier on KZbin suggested and wondered when you do a reaction to his video, I think Jordan’s house is a back to back on a cobblestone side street the white wall I think is painted Yorkshire stone like old fisherman’s houses with white stones on every corner from second floor to ground level, I am no builder or surveyor just a handyman and, I guessed condensation and air brick, I saw the green algae on the wall too so it must have leaky or blocked gutters if waters backing up and leaking down the gable end of the roof or some tiles have moved due to heavy winds. ❤ the videos you make me laugh and I’m learning a lot from you, I’ve watched about 20 of your videos in the last two days, I’m subscribed i will be watching and learning more from you.

it definatly looks like a cold spot to me ! looks llke a solid wall construction also so as you said freezing cold air is coming from the airbrick right by the damp area !

It's almost certainly a cavity, and a good chance it's got old compo causing bridging issues contributing to the cold spot

@@interabang im well aware of that hence me saying it could be a cavity wall ! but also ive seen lots of buildings like that be solid wall construction ! but the airbrick is letting in cold air causing the damp issue !

No, get a competent qualified specialist surveyor to look at all the property and do a report, I suspect the ventilation is inadequate too. That area can be cut out and a warmer system applied if needed

That’s a great comment, all iv done is correct the wrong info Rodger has put out, as iv said before misdiagnosis gives my industry a bad name I’m just pointing people in the right direction.
