I commented elsewhere on the significance of de coding "sam" by Arahatunwahanse. We do not still see its significance.For thousands of years, "sam"was interpreted as a mere grammatical prefix,whereas it is the key to opening the doors to Nibbana and a landmark in the history of the Sasana. Without an exposure to "sam",we only revelled in knowledge and scholarship without proceeding an inch on the Path....it is indeed satisfying to see the younger generation taking up the challenge to share this deep concept with seekers. There is hope for the future.
