As someone who actually never watched any Dan and/or Phil until these rewatches randomly appeared in my feed a few weeks ago I have to say it was still suprisingly comforting to watch. As someone who is about the same age as them, seeing two mature people looking back at their younger selves like this with both humour and understanding, celebrating and roasting themselves was lovely. I have a hard time doing that with my own younger self. So thank you!

I think one of the reasons why you guys are still very loved and relevant is that you manage to grow and change as people while maintaining the core of your success intact (your friendship, your values, your chemistry) since day one and so showing that you were always authentic. My favorite PiNoF moment is from 10, when Dan asks the duck question, Phil mishears him, and Dan just quacks as clarification. 😂 Watching them react to all the PiNoFs has been soul-cleansing and has brought me so much joy.
