Actually it was the other way around...; Jacob was renamed Israel. The descendents of his his twelve sons became the 12 tribes of Israel. What do you gain by willfully distort the truth? Even If you manage to establish your lie, all you have is a dunghill placed on top of a lie...; just a pile of dung! And what does "Palestine" have that makes it a "holy land"...?; nothing. It is "holy" because of God's Holy Temple, the altar and the Ark of the covenant and because of God's presence with His people and because of dedication to God....; a God that Palestine deny and do not even serve. The existence of Israel in the Holy Land is well established in the archeological records in sites all over the land of Israel and is recognised throughout the world. And it is there for you to see with your own eyes.....; if the are not blinded by lies and propaganda.
