I don't know what to make of Dan Bilzerian. I had never heard of him until this interview popped up on my KZbin. I thought I would end up hating the man but now I don't think I can hate him. I appreciate his complete honesty. He's laid back. I wonder if Dan has a temper? Violent? I think any woman, who wants to be involved with Dan, knows what they are getting involved in. He won't ever be monogamous or settle down with just one woman. It's like a rock star who gets married but the wife knows he won't be faithful. Actors are for their acting skills, comedians for their crisp sense of humor. Social media just gave a lot of other people with a much more versatile set of skills to gather the demographic that appreciates their set of skills. I read a book on psychology; the author discusses quite a bit. One of the things he discusses, near the end, is how the diagnosed cases for sociopathy have increased to terrifying numbers. Sociologists (and other groups) have looked into this, and found that one of the main causes is social media. People become completely obsessed with themselves and their status in life. When they see people like Dan on there, flashing his money and women, it can also cause cases of depression and feelings of inadequacy to spike too. This is researched stuff, and also not that complex to wrap your head around; in a society with "seemingly" successful people all around you, it leads to increased sociopathy cases and depression cases. The book, by the way, is called "You Are Now Less Dumb".
