I just recently finished watching gossip girl and even though I loved Chuck and Blair, I fell in love with Dan and Blair more. Their story was just so pure I enjoyed seeing the kind of progress they made throughout the show, how they went from being strangers who don't like each other at all to becoming secret friends to finally admitting that they are each other's best friend to being lovers. Personally, I think that the kind of love story that they had is the only healthy relationship in the show, as what Blair said with Dan she feels strong and safe and with what Dan said him and Blair are a team and I think that that's so beautiful.

exactly!!! i think blair is the one for chuck and dan is the one for serena but blair is dan’s soulmate and dan is hers. rly wish they ended up together. they both were completely themselves. when dan was with blair he wasn’t trying to live up to serena’s “world” and blair wasn’t so vulnerable like she was with chuck. dan and blair were equals and best friends and the healthiest and happiest relationship on the show

Eleanor C yeees!!!! i totally agree with you...honestly it would’ve been nice if they made the final season or maybe another season about dan and blair. Kinda like having chuck and blair / serena and dan be together for a while as a married couple then a little while later realization hits both dan and blair that they’re made for each other that would’ve been interesting to see 😅

@@hesatellite yes omg!! that makes perfect sense. like season 6 felt so rushed. they had blair magically go back to somewhat disliking dan a little bit as if their happy relationship never even happened. ahhh wish season 6 turned out differently and i agree!! chuck and blair / serena and dan marriages and then later on them realizing they were meant for each other

@@hesatellite especially after so much buildup and time was spent into making blair and dan possible like them working at W as competitors but then slowly becoming closer and closer. it’s like all that went away in season 6 and they went back to how they used to be. totally wish it was different ahaha

While watching GG first time around i was a huge chair shipper but when dair started happening it was freaking undeniable they were perfect for each other and their story, to me, is by far the best of the show. Upon my rewatch i thought that at the beginning of feel for chuck/blair what i used to at the beginning...but not even then 😂 dair is just.... Amazing. They really should have ended up together
