Dan is the main reason I got back on a skateboard last season for the first time in 2 decades. I seen AA on a Braille vid, then realized how much I missed watching skating. I searched for more AA after the Braille vid, Dan's channel showed up and the rest they say is history. I went down a Dan Corrigan rabbit hole, watched most his back catalogue of vids, fell in love with skating and last year when I moved across the country, I had zero friends in the area so I decided to buy a skateboard and go skate. Since then I have made new friends and found or refound a passion in my life that makes me feel incredible. Regardless of how shitty I may be, I just love to be on my skate and having fun. So for that I thank Dan from the bottom of my heart and I also thank you Deville and the Powell team for giving Dan the opportunity to do what he does, I truly believe Dan is helping the skate community more then he knows.

And I wish I never stopped or got discouraged by others in high school. But here we are, almost at 30, trying 😂😂 and breaking ankles 😅😅

MY FIRST SHOES WERE AIRWALK, BOUGHT AT T.O.S.S. THE ORIGINAL SKATE SHOP, AND MY SECOND PAIR OF SHOES WERE SHEEP WHICH WERE SICK AF ACCORDING TO MY FRIENDS AT SCHOOL THAT I BOUGHT AT PHARMACY. As a teenager, I met Steve Caballero once in the early 90s and he was so nice that he will remain in my heart as the best. It was the first time I met professional legends.

My first pro board was a used Alien Workshop that I traded my expensive Christmas present for. My folks were pissed I was the happiest I've ever been to skate something not from Walmart. I never went back, I used those trucks and wheels for several years on blanks after that 😂😂😂

My first board my parents ordered from CCS. Was a world industry board. The water dude hanging the flame dude over a shark tank, with pig wheels, grindking trucks & lucky berrings lol (what happened to "THINK" boards? I thought they were dope growing up. There used to be a bunch of cool brands around the 90's-2000's

My first board was a Powell, slick bottom with three frogs I think it was called homies or something. I still have the board but I’ve been looking for years to get a never ridden one. 🙏🏻

Awesome to see Eddie Reategui here. He was my brother's mentor back in 1978 and they skated Lakewood park together when Ed was just doing kick turns and attempting frontside slash grinds. Long before he was sponsored by Powell.

My first board was a nash 80s board. First real one in 98 or 99 was a Powell Angel boy, krux trucks, powell flameballs wheels, everything else was Lucky besides some reason CCS put orange skateboarding is not a crime grip on it lol. Still have the wheels. Getting back into it since stopping in 2011ish, first board back is for sure gonna be a flight board!
