This song continues to hold the same anointing and drawing power that it had when he first wrote it. Definitely given by the Holy Ghost. It produces a very, very rare power that continues to move your spirit long after you’ve heard it. And no one can sing it like Dan Dean.

My labXwhippet took off full speed ahead at a deer running thru our yard this morning. We live in 23 acres backed by state recreational trails and state forests. I was beside myself worried for him. I know Lucky (and my 3 other rescues) is such a gift of God but He was a tremendous amount of work getting him to trust me. He was a street dog in Atlanta so very cautious of humans. The Lord taught me so much that first year with Lucky getting him to trust me and what worked was God’s methods, not of force but one of patient love. The second year Lucky earned two trick dog awards and helps me with a disability. Short story: Lucky showed up for breakfast not making friends with the traveling deer, I take it. I pulled the ticks off him and gave him a truckers bath and then chow time, knowing we too run away from ‘home’ at times, but the Lord is lovingly waiting when we return.
