I began my career at Quicken Loans years ago and then went in a different direction after 6 years with the company. Many of the philosophies have stayed with me and shaped who I am. I honor this man. And appreciate the time I was able to work with him.

Dan Gilbert seems like a businessman. I will always thank him for bringing the 2016 NBA Finals crown.

Never feels like work???? Better not let Dan Gilbert hear you say that. that will tell him it's time you go.

Idiot he’s saying that his job is fun and it doesn’t feel like mindless work. Dan Gilbert wouldn’t fire someone for saying you uncooked mutton chop. Your probably more bone than meat, and that’s why I hate mutton

I loved this conversation with Dan Gilbert. Hillary really had some great questions and Dan's comments felt natural and down to earth and just telling us what he feels and how he grew up and so much that obviously has led him to working hard, being a risk taker all his life and a successful entrepreneur. I like that while he was making money at some point he made a decision to put those resources, and his positive spirit into making a difference in Detroit.

One Woodward in Detroit that Dan mentioned -> this is Buffalo's 1966 version of that, that Minoru Yamasaki designed (One M&T Plaza). Amazing architect to say the least. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_M%26T_Plaza

I'm working on my business while I still also work at Ford Motor Co. My business is about to take off, I'm investing a lot of money back into Detroit and become super successful by making others super successful.

I am a Detroit Native. Building logistic app in a particular niche. I want to share with Dan Gilbert that would be a dream come true. It will be a plus if he decides to invest. Funny thing is I live in Farmington Hills and he is lives 15 to 20 min. Away.

Car technology is a failure. Unfortunately its going to take forever to get Six Sigma compliant, because of Balmer and Gates from Microsoft making "acceptable" computing a thing vs. "superior" computing. That's why ... its going to take a long time. I believe Dan, its just not 10 years of development. It's 30-50 years.

Dan Gilbert's life epitomizes the following Martin Luther King, Jr. quote: "We all too often have socialism for the rich and rugged free market capitalism for the poor." The same hypocrites who complain about welfare handouts for the poor are all in favor of corporate welfare for billionaires like Gilbert, filling their overstuffed pockets with taxpayer money again and again. What a joke.
