Remember Jones fought many fights where he did many stupid things prior to the fight as a crutch that he could use if he lost. He could use those things to justify his loss.. Also whenever you feel ready and you have done everything you need to prepare for a fight and are confident it is often in those times you can find yourself doubting that you are.

Jon beats D.C at HW. Santos is deluded if he thinks he stands any chance against Jon outside of a random bum punch. Jon will tactically cleave him apart thru each round, Santos will bum brawl early and then try to adapt with capoeira after bein picked apart dominantly for the 1st round or so. Santos will gas by the 3rd and Jon will stalk and continue intelligent punishment until either Jon drags his fatigued body to the ground for a t.k.o/sub, or he increases his output of knees/elbows in the clinch for a finish in the later rounds. If I’m a coach in Santos’s camp, I’d be tellin Santos to make the fight fun, enjoy the opportunity, and make it a show for the fans. Outside of that, he’s dead.

I really think Jones is shook of the Heavyweights. Ever since Cormier said he would fight him at HW last year, hes been shutting the idea down or stalling. Bigot Jones even said at the Gus 2 interviews 'Cormier is too comfortable to Heavyweight. I would fight him at LWH'. Dos Santos would have Jones's number and Miocic would for sure and I believe Cormier would have him at HW aswell.
