This was a really good interview. And i think UFC made a GIGANTIC mistake in letting Dan go. I really hope his channel gets a move up. Maybe he should "polish" it a bit up - like Chael did. Not that it should be a copy of Chaels, but just get it to look more professional. Maybe get a professional to help him put it up.

Like it or not, if you sign on the line with a corporate body like UFC...there's certain rules. You get a great interesting job, travel, good pay, big platform etc but the trade-off is you give up some of your freedoms to do/say exactly what you like when you like. Dan pushed the boundary once too often and found out what happens. Should it be like that is another question.

If your big boss publicly makes it clear he's *very* unhappy with something you did and the next one to do it is instantly dismissed, the *only* way to read that is that you are on probation/final notice. Even if things seem normal afterwards, they're not. You are on thin ice. Don't rock the boat again. That's the trade-off and life in a big corporate.

Makes a lot of money in Real Estate. Another great guest would be James Krause. MMA Fighter who has a great business acumen.

Dan has done nothing wrong. Dana has made multiple bad calls when it comes to "protecting" his employees. He treats people as expendable. The fact that Herb Dean keeps getting the top fights is a stain on the UFC. He is too casual and slow to respond to situations. Compare him to Mark Goddard and its chalk and cheese. Their is a reason John Mccarthy left the UFC. As soon as someone's profile threatens Dana he cuts them out. It's childish and its pathetic. It's only a matter of time before the UFC is unionised and a governing body is put in place and it will be all the better for it. Keep up the good work Dan Hardy. You don't need these jokers. ❤️

Herb Dean has really lost a step. He gets there so late and fighters taking unnecessary damage as a result. Dan calls him out on it and is cut off...yet here we have McGregor smashing up buses and assaulting old men in pubs. Difference being Dana isn’t finished milking that cash cow just yet

Such a big loss for the UFC not having Dan on the team. From a company point of view though - you can't have a commentator shouting his recommendations at the referee. Dan said it himself - his job is the development of MMA and this goes beyond the UFC. UFC does plenty of things that aren't good for MMA as a sport - and if you are on the broadcast team, you have to tow the company line, especially when they want to IPO this year. It sucks for us as fans because we want guys like Dan on those broadcasts - not the Steven A Smith types.

TBE, nice effort inviting Dan Hardy in the midst of his UFC backlash. I was hoping for more business talks to be honest, get that entrepreneurial perspective.
