The problem with fingers pointing out is the coaches need to be breaking that habit in the gym. I bet they dont ever say anything and they do it all the way through camp. THE COACH can stop this. The BMF contenders are only eligible if they sre strikers. The people who invented the idea of a BMF belt: Masvidal and Nate Diaz, avoided wrestling at all costs and never tried to use wrestling to win their fights. Then Gaethje and Poirier fought, followed by Gaethje vs. Holloway. The precedent has been established, it's a belt for strikers only.

Suppose there’s an element of risk of amount of bleeding - the body only has so much blood, loose enough and you will die 😂 not sure if that instance could of been a risk for that reason, remember there was an instance with an artery shooting blood from someones forehead a year or two back that wasnt spotted but almost ended in worst case so better to be safe than sorry! But yes not exactly sure what the ‘expert’ was looking for digging fingers in, and was the fight was actually ruled for ‘potential break’ so god knows.. be nice if the judging/docs etc had full legit reasoning in these situations.. not a terrible call though i guess, safety first and that!
